Kelly is the heart and soul behind Smart Acoustics. A musician and songwriter by passion, he began his journey of acoustic treatment while building his own home recording studio for his own band. After years of building acoustic panels and bass traps for other musicians using the old school method (lumber, power tools, staple guns, etc.) he knew there had to be a better and easier way. 

That’s when Kelly designed and patented the AcoustiCAGE 150, aiming to make high-quality DIY acoustic treatment easy, effective, beautiful and affordable for everyone.

As a business owner, Kelly blends creativity with innovation, always seeking to simplify and improve acoustics for artists, creators, home recording enthusiasts, podcasters, schools, churches and businesses.
